When you will need it
Stays longer than 90 days
Health insurance is submitted with an application for a long-term visa or residence permit.
You are not in Czech public insurance
Students who do not work in Czechia usually fall outside the public system.
You need proof for the authorities

Scope of cover
A limit of at least EUR 400,000 with no excess, and within 90 days of arrival comprehensive cover from an insurer authorised in the Czech Republic (§ 180j of the Act on the Residence of Foreigners).
