The insurance company specialises in health-related insurance. It is mainly travel insurance for our citizens travelling abroad for short, repeated or long-term stays, insurance for hospital costs and health insurance for foreigners. This is offered in two forms: Comprehensive Foreigners’ Health Insurance (roughly at the level of our public health insurance) and Basic Foreigners’ Health Insurance (insurance for necessary and urgent care for short stays). The VZP insurance company has the highest number of medical facilities among the insurance companies (the list includes over 8,000 facilities).
